Information the game uses

When you use online features, RunGun Riot processes your game account and Steam account relationship, chosen player name, profile, character statistics, contracts, earned-result records, and information needed to operate and reconnect to a match. Match records can include the match, game build, mode, character, team, and performance or result information. Some match identifiers are pseudonymous but can be linked to an account.

The game also processes multiplayer connection and room information, including room and reconnect state. The game service uses network IP addresses for connection limits and security controls. The edge proxy creates structured request logs that can contain connection and request metadata. Vultr hosts the game server. Valve/Steam handles distribution and Steam account services under its own terms.

Information stored on your device

The game saves settings and local career data, your chosen player tag, and online sign-in and reconnect information in browser or device storage. Online sign-in and reconnect information can include authentication/session tokens. Keep access to your device and browser profile private. Clearing local save data removes the local copy; it does not by itself erase a server-held profile.

Team communications and safety

Team quick messages, text messages, and pings are relayed through the game server to teammates. Short-lived evidence related to some messages or pings can be kept in memory and attached to a player report. Reports can include the reporting and reported accounts, the reason, room and case details, relevant communication evidence, and case timestamps and outcome. Moderation decisions and active sanctions may require records to remain available while a case or sanction is active.

Team voice is optional and only requests microphone access after you enable it. When voice is available and enabled, it uses WebRTC. The game server coordinates connection setup; audio may travel directly between players or through a configured relay, depending on the connection configuration.

Bug reports and support

The in-game bug report is prepared for you to review. It can include the game build and platform, and you may add other details. You choose whether to copy the report or open an email draft. The game does not automatically send the report. If you email us, the message and any information you include are handled through the email service.

Contact voyageseattle@gmail.com for support, privacy, correction, deletion, or moderation appeal requests. We verify account-control requests through the authenticated game or Steam account relationship. Do not email passwords or reusable authentication tokens.

Retention and deletion

Our retention policy is to keep completed identifiable match analytics for 30 days after match completion. Incomplete matches and pending result or event delivery remain until they can be resolved safely.

Closed moderation, security, and appeal records are kept for 90 days after final case closure. Reopened cases receive a new period after closure. Active cases, necessary active-sanction evidence, and approved legal, support, or appeal holds remain protected until the case, sanction, or hold ends.

Active profile and progression information is kept while the account is active. After a verified deletion request, we remove the requested profile and progression, subject to pending earned results, active sanctions, approved holds, and minimum records needed to prevent duplicate rewards or ensure a restore does not recreate a deleted account. Our retention policy is to delete backup copies within 30 days after creation across all retained copies. Recovery and approved holds are handled before deletion is reported complete.

Website and service providers

The RunGun Riot website is hosted by Netlify. The game server is hosted by Vultr. The game page loads fonts from Google Fonts. Support and privacy email is received through Gmail. Valve/Steam provides game distribution and Steam account services. Encrypted backup copies, when created, are stored with Backblaze B2. These services process requests as needed to deliver their respective features and may also handle information under their own terms.

Age

RunGun Riot is intended for people aged 13 or older. The in-game age declaration is not an age-verification method and does not establish parental consent. If you believe a person under 13 has provided account information, contact us at voyageseattle@gmail.com.
